Preamble

SCC Informationssysteme GmbH takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We therefore strictly adhere to the rules of data protection law.

We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website as well as our content and services. Personal data of our users is generally only processed after the user's consent. An exception applies in cases where obtaining prior consent is not possible for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by law.

The personal data of the data subject will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Storage may also take place if this has been provided for by the European or national legislator in EU regulations, laws or other provisions to which the controller is subject.

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation and other national data protection laws of the member states, as well as other data protection provisions, is:

Server log files

Each time this website is accessed, our web hosting provider automatically collects general information in so-called server log files:

  • type and version of the web browser used
  • the operating system used
  • the website from which access was made (referrer URL)
  • the page of this website that was accessed
  • the IP address of the accessing computer
  • date and time of access

This data does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your identity and is not merged with other data sources. This collection serves the technical provision and security of the website; the legal basis for this is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, but no later than after seven months. The collection is mandatory for the operation of the website, so there is no possibility of objection in this respect.

Cookies

This website currently uses no cookies – no analytics or marketing software involving cookies is used. Should this change in the future (e.g. through the use of a privacy-friendly web analytics solution), this statement will be updated accordingly and, if necessary, consent will be obtained.

Contact form

You can contact us using the contact form. The following data is processed in this context:

  • Name
  • Company (optional)
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Your message
  • Date and time of submission

Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the checkbox before sending, supplemented by our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) in offering a functioning contact option that is protected against misuse. Data is disclosed to third parties only to the extent technically necessary to process your inquiry (see note on the form service used below). The data is deleted once the conversation is concluded; you may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. by email to datenschutz@scc-gmbh.com.

Note on technical operation: The contact form is sent via the service Web3Forms, an offering by Web3Creative (registered in Kerala, India). According to the provider, form submissions are not stored permanently but forwarded directly to our email address; the provider's infrastructure is located in the USA. This involves a transfer of data to third countries (USA, possibly India), for which we agree appropriate safeguards with the provider pursuant to Art. 44 et seq. GDPR where required. Data processing on our behalf takes place to the extent necessary for this purpose.

Your rights as a data subject

If personal data about you is processed, you have the following rights against the controller:

Right to information

You may request confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed, as well as information on the purposes of processing, categories of data, recipients, planned storage period and the origin of the data.

Right to rectification

You have the right to have incorrect or incomplete data corrected and/or completed.

Right to restriction of processing

Under certain conditions (e.g. disputed accuracy, unlawful processing, objection) you may request that the processing of your data be restricted.

Right to erasure

You may request immediate erasure of your data if it is no longer necessary for the original purpose, you withdraw your consent, you object to processing, or the data was processed unlawfully. This right does not apply if processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to assert legal claims.

Right to notification

If your data has been rectified, erased or its processing restricted, all recipients to whom your data was disclosed will be informed, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. You have the right to be informed about these recipients.

Right to data portability

Where processing is based on consent or a contract and is carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive the data you provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to transmit it to another controller.

Right to object

For reasons arising from your particular situation, you may object at any time to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR. We will then no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.

Right to withdraw consent

You may withdraw any consent given at any time. The lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal remains unaffected.

Automated decision-making in individual cases

You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing (including profiling) that has legal effects concerning you. No such automated decision-making takes place on this website.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR.
